Don't stop billievein Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'm Neutral on the pick. Even Revis in his first year was getting beat left and right and he is the best in the game. Cb is a tough position to come in and play day 1. I was really hoping we would get a guy who would be effective from game 1. He may cost us a game or two but in the long run it might be a good pick.
Rico Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 How sad. How truly sad and stupid. When they threw early picks in the garbage for Whitner and McKelvin, I was furious. This time, I am really feeling sorry for Fitz, and even sorrier for us as loyal, true fans. Buddy will probably be fast asleep by the time I have finished typing this post, but make no mistake, he just hurt this franchise. And again, fans such as us deserve better than this absolute, true, incomprehensible idiocy. Another dismal day for Bills fans. Hang in there, you still may get an OT tomorrow.
HurlyBurly51 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Knew it was gonna be Gilmore or Kirkpatrick. Glad they had their pick of the two.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 This is Groundhog Day: The Sequel. Once again the Bills go for a cornerback in the first round while they have more pressing needs. I believe Gilmore is good, but we have huge holes at OT and LB. Now we will be weeping about the ones that got away... again. You have 3-4 needs, so how do you hit them all with one pick? CB is a need. Good pick. PTR
BUFFALOTONE Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 This is a good player from a good conference. Our dbs are shat. This kid is a stud. Love the pick, would have liked keuchly but what can you do. Good job front office.

bmur66 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 (edited) good solid pick. Anyone else sense the dogs likin their chops when Miami picked Tennehill? Edited April 27, 2012 by bmur66
Astrobot Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Gilmore is a stiff in the hips CB. Not what we needed. I hope the rest of the draft is better. Ugh. STIFF IN THE HIPS???? 3.94 shuttle (Revis= 4.08), 6.61 3-cone (Revis=6.56). Our tandem is the best in the division.

Jesus dude step back from the ledge Gotta love when you critcize what OTHER regimes in buffalo did.
Fingon Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The only other player that made sense was Michael Floyd.
DDD Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 This pick sucks. CB's don't win games. Should have drafted Floyd or Reiff as bigger impact on the scoreboard.
McBeane Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 So everyone that hates this pick, do you consider yourself a better evaluator of talent than Buddy Nix? I know this conversation has happened before, but I can't understand how people hate the pick just because it's a CB. This is Buddy's first first round DB with the Bills, why is it such a bad thing to add talent to an old CB unit?
TheBackupQB Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Atleast we didn't draft a OLmen btw: NFL Network is doing a better job than espn
bigc14120 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I like it. We needed some CBs. Gilmore and Williams going forward. Florenca and McGee are gone....McKelvin still might start ahead of Williams, but I am da_n tired of picking CB's in round 1. Really disappointed Kuechley was gone.

You know, the guy who knows players and how to win so well that he has sat in the booth for the last couple of years with his Super Bowl ring Dungy gave him?
KD in CA Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Name a fuggin corner on the Giants. Prince Amukamara, the guy they drafted last year in the FIRST ROUND.
Wayne Cubed Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Name a fuggin corner on the Giants. Cory Webster, without looking. Next question.
