Ramblin' Rob Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 a 4.81 40 yrd dash is pretty slow for a kid that tall and lanky...I'm 6'3" 250 and run faster than that...just sayn' I call shenanigans. Please post a video of you running a 40 under 4.8...or 6.8 for that matter.
BILLS #1 Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 If you listen to the interview, he says he ran a 4.5.
1B4IDie Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Brown! Oh no! The Ivy league connection. Harvard to Brown. You may not have heard, and this is probably the first time you've heard this but Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard. Edited April 30, 2012 by Why So Serious?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 You may not have heard, and this is probably the first time you've heard this but Ryan Fitzpatrick went to the Harvard. Another very little-known fact about Fitz is that unlike most married players, he wears his wedding ring during games.
Armchair GM Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 It actually says his 40 time is 4.48 ... Much better..I got my info off of Brown's team page.
Lurker Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Camp fodder Nothing special as an athlete: Vertical Leap: 32 inches 3-Cone Drill: 7.22 seconds versus Combine results for draftable WRs
Armchair GM Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I call shenanigans. Please post a video of you running a 40 under 4.8...or 6.8 for that matter. Believe it or not, not all of us on this board are overweight middle-age slobs...4.8 is pretty accurate, maybe a tad faster...I'll have it timed in practice on Wednesday and let you know.
bladiebla Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Another very little-known fact about Fitz is that unlike most married players, he wears his wedding ring during games. Little known? Good grief if an announcer is going to say it one more time next season I may jump. :puke:

It is amusing how people claim stuff like this, but even funnier how others call them out. I'm 6'5" 235lbs and ran a 4.68 two years ago when I was 33 and still playing. I figure a 4.8 is pretty achievable for someone of your stature who is still playing. Little known? Good grief if an announcer is going to say it one more time next season I may jump. :puke: I believe that this was SJB's point.
hondo in seattle Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Believe it or not, not all of us on this board are overweight middle-age slobs...4.8 is pretty accurate, maybe a tad faster...I'll have it timed in practice on Wednesday and let you know. I did 4.8 as a junior in high school in football cleats. Now I am an overweight, middle-aged slob and 6.8 is out of the question. Maybe 10.8.

And you time that fast in an armchair? That is impressive. Little known? Good grief if an announcer is going to say it one more time next season I may jump. :puke: Oh… I thought that was an obscure fact. Fine then. Here's another one: Fitz would have had a perfect score on the Wonderlic but he intentionally got one answer wrong… just to prove his point… which no one is smart enough to know what it is. I did 4.8 as a junior in high school in football cleats. Now I am an overweight, middle-aged slob and 6.8 is out of the question. Maybe 10.8. I know hondo and it really pains all of us to see how much you've let yourself go.
offyourocker Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Little known? Good grief if an announcer is going to say it one more time next season I may jump. :puke: Sarcasm. Not everybody speaks it
ny33 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 http://www.blogtalkradio.com/purplein1/2012/03/13/nfl-draft-time-with-alexander-tounkara-wr-brown I go to Brown, but don't really follow our football team at all and haven't heard of Alex, or any NFL prospects this year. That being said, congratulations to Alex on signing with the Bills. I'll try to find out some more information about him.
Peter Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I think that we should definitely bring her in for a look see. Did someone say Anna Kournikova?
