Mark Long Beach Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 a little disappointed. If he was our 7th rounder, I wouldn't think he'd make the roster.
TheMadCap Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 The guy can stretch the field. We have possession and slot guys...
3putt Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I think he starts off as a slot receiver and return specialist. It may be that the team feels the #2 guy is already on the roster. Maybe Easley is finally healthy
Meark Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I can't believe we gave up a 7th round pick to move up a couple of spots to get a guy that would have still been there.. I am totally confused why they did this..
ExWNYer Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 What did we give up for him? And why did we trade for him? Gave up their 7th. For you Mayock ballwashers, he had a 7th Round grade on Graham.
Dorkington Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Roscoe 2.0, maybe... but this guy looks "thicker", so hopefully he holds up better.
BeastMode54 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I'm fine with it just don't know why the trade up?
Alaska Darin Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 That's a "WTF" pick/trade. Maybe it's past Chix' bed time.
KD in CA Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Kind of a buzzkill pick. I would have really preferred a LB there; or depth anywhere on the defense or OL. A one dimensional WR can be found much later in the draft.
BuffaloBill Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Only time will tell ... Pundits are saying a huge reach...
nikuman Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Nice quote WRT to this pick: "Buffalo leads the league in return men...unfortunately, you can't play 6 of them at one time". I would have been happier with a backup quarterback. Or Massie. Edited April 28, 2012 by nikuman
earthtobrint Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Mayock just said he had him rated as a 7th rounder... and we traded up for him..? Ah, well they just said we switched 3rd round spots and gave up a 7th... Not too bad I guess... In reality they traded their 3rd round pick to move down to the 7th.
Dorkington Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Did we trade up before or after Posey was selected?
Philo Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 This says to me they have Easley penciled in as the number 2. I don't know how I feel about that, but I trust Buddy.
ARMchairgm Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 they didnt trade up you noobs they had the pick already
jimmy10 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Odd that we moved up two spots for him though... They must have been concerned someone else was going to grab him? It's almost too strange, there must have been a lot going on behind the scenes.
ndirish1978 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 they didnt trade up you noobs they had the pick already They traded pick 8 in the 3rd round and a 7th rounder for pick 6 in the 3rd round. Noob
BRAWNDO Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 He won't make the 52 man roster... Considering there are 53 spots he may have a chance.
