truth on hold Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I hope Gabbert makes it - I really do - but this isn't saying a whole heck of a lot. Now if they said he graded out higher than Andy Dalton that might prick my interest. Me too. Wouldn't it be great if he lit it up in year 2 and Lombardi would have to issue a second apology for blowing it on him. Lol.
buffaloboyinATL Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The Ravens needed a QB too when he was there and yet THEY won a Superbowl. Sometimes it is about the surrounding cast, not the QB. That being said, I wouldn't mind a good backup/future starter, I'm just not sure that is a priority in the next 2 rounds.
BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 As far as the arm, I have no argument here. The question is, where is McCoy's footabll savy compared to Fitzpatrick's? McCoy's a knucklehead. Nice guy but would just be a waste of time.
bills_believer Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Trent Dilfer said that the top 2 QB's left graded out higher than last year's Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder. One was The ASU guy and I missed the other, but he named the Bills as a team who should grab a 2nd round QB. Thoughts? I think the other guy was Nick Foles from Arizona.
Gray Beard Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I don't think it's a stretch to say Bflo needs a QB. Fitz led the league in interceptions and there is no decent backup. I'm thinking Osweiler or Wilson in the 3rd after grabbing Martin or Adams in the 2nd. This would be great. I hope Osweiler is there in the third.
RuntheDamnBall Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Trent Dilfer needs a QB. !@#$ Trent Dilfer. Maybe if he could play QB he could have actually won a Super Bowl.
BiggieScooby Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Let Fitzy fail in '12. If he under performs than we will likely be drafting in the top 10 in '13 and can get a very good QB.

In this case, a very large grain of salt.
DC Tom Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 If anyone knows about teams needing a QB it's Trent Dilfer. He never started for one that didn't.
K-9 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 If anyone knows about teams needing a QB it's Trent Dilfer. He never started for one that didn't. Ya see, now that's funny stuff right there. LOL! GO BILLS!!!
devldog131 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Philly may take one fairly early. I don't think they are going to place their faith in Trent Edwards as their main backup. Kafka is their backup. Trentative Checkwards is a camp body.
DanInUticaTampa Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I wouldn't mind them picking cousins in the 4th. the worst is he would be an upgrade over thigpen
John Cocktosten Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Dilfer is a Douche but in this instance, he's right.
Sisyphean Bills Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Trent Dilfer needs a QB. !@#$ Trent Dilfer. Maybe if he could play QB he could have actually won a Super Bowl.
