KD in CA Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 So everyone was in agreement that House Ballard was the BPA when the 283d pick rolled around?
nucci Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Part of that was Ballard still had college eligibility left and didn't sign with the Bills until '88.
KOKBILLS Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Part of that was Ballard still had college eligibility left and didn't sign with the Bills until '88. ^^^ This..It was a BIG part...
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "House" Ballard always liked him House Ballard always liked who?
Cugalabanza Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I met Howard Ballard when he came to my dorm room to pick up my roommate (his nephew) in 1989.

But how can you say it would have been a 'panic' to take him with a #2? Wouldn't he have been the "BPA" at that point in the draft? Would it have been a panic to take Brady with a #1? Wasn't he also the "BPA" at that time?
