GG Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Just walked by Radio City. There seems to be a lot of activity with big trucks and wires and stuff. So despite the light drizzle, the draft appears to be on schedule for tonight. Carry on.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 ESPN just reported that the NFL was going to make a trade and move the draft up two hours. But the NFL Network reported that sources inside the league said it is likely a smoke screen and the NFL is actually moving the draft back an hour, so they can start at 9 pm. Stay tuned.

I heard the Food Network may be interested in giving up all their shows to ESPN for exclusive rights to the draft. Sources say each drafted player will pose not with a jersey, but with their favorite dish from Applebees.

Stations interested include Food Network, Liftime for Women and the Outdoor Channel.
GG Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Another update. One of the techs was catching a smoke outside the truck. Bloomberg called in the storm troopers. The draft may be canceled.

WickedGame Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Luke Russert's Mom just Tweeted she saw the draft get in a cab headed "in the general direction of an airport." Great. There goes the draft.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Or maybe they'd move it across the river to Newark. BTW, did you know that the Bills are the only team which plays their games… ah… never mind. update: Coach Sal is reporting that the draft is visiting Jim and Jill Kelly's home… more to follow.

The draft is now reported to be scheduling hunting trips with the Kelly's and petting deer in their back yard!
