Kelly the Dog Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) What I notice about him is he has a great throwing motion, and it's much more straight over the top than most throwers. In effect, his ball comes out at the same height as a guy who is 3-4 inches taller but doesn't throw straight over the top, which a lot of them don't. Drew Brees has a cannon for an arm, but he also winds up a little when he throws deep. Wilson just flicks his arm and the ball comes out pretty quick and strong. His arm is really impressive. Combined with the smarts and great leader and running and scrambling, as well as maturity, which is also pretty remarkable, he's a very good looking prospect. Granted, I think 3rd may be too early for him, and I see him as a back-up in the league. But I genuinely think this isn't any kind of typical shorter QB, even like Colt McCoy who I never thought would be good and still don't.
