VABills
I hate politicians like that. That pretty much covers 99.9% of them. 14888 I am sure your girl Rue Paul probably doesn't fall in there does she?
stuckincincy
Neither. 13251 Same here. Caveat: Rudy on the ticket as VP.
BadDad
Same here. Caveat: Rudy on the ticket as VP. 14906 Depending on hoe Kerry/Edwards do over the next four years, a repub ticket of McCain and Rudi could mount quite a challenge. Buftex
Depending on hoe Kerry/Edwards do over the next four years, a repub ticket of McCain and Rudi could mount quite a challenge. 14914 Except that, other than being Republicans, they have very different views on many of the core issues that the Republican party stands on. I agree that McCain would be a formidable candidate, but Rudy the superstar is a media creation.
stuckincincy
Guiliani has a degree of credibility. Without his prostate cancer, he would have won the Senate race over Clinton. Good VP candidate, and if the President was incapacitated, is generally trustworthy in the eyes of many. McCain is more the media creation. He is viewed as fundamentally flawed by many core Republicans (essentially a what-do-you-want-to-hear? populist IMO). He would have trouble getting support in the primaries. He may well flip - he is an equal egoist to Kerry.
