Recommended Posts

Walker is going down in June. This guy is under investigation for abuse of county taxpayers money. Over 2 million in Wisconsin signed his recall. He is going down in flames despite all the out of state support. As for the unions they are just "people" like corporations.

Yeah, Taxpayers like "Mickey Mouse". Where were these people yesterday?

He's abusing taxpayers money by saving money?

The unions are abusing their member's money by wasting it on this recall.

LMAO, you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. Where do you get your info DailyKos? Less than 1 million signed the petition and a fair number of them were duplicates or phony. Some former Walker staffers are under investigation, and if he was in the wrong any way the Journal Sentinel would be pouncing on it.

I'd love one of these morons to articulate exactly how they are helped by getting rid of a guy like Walker. A guy attempting to balance his state's budget is a threat to you how......???

What's the matter with you? F'n with the teacher's and state pensions? You guys are here to serve all of us in the public sector. Hey, our rainbow farts are worth like 100 times your reasonable assumptions.

Why did Walker hire an attorney? Fact he's also under investigation. Over 2 million signatures fact. Walkers staffers were operating under his direction. Walker is getting what he deserves. The workers of Wisconsin are going to take him down and all the Koch Brothers money won't save him.

The total number of signatures was nowhere near two million. It was actually under one million!

And there's quite a bit of talk in the state right now about the fact that only 650,000 democrats voted in the primary... Scott Walker, who was being challenged in the primaries by a "fake Democrat" (you know, the tactic that the left complained about when the Republicans did it) had almost as many votes as all of the democrats combined -- in a primary that he didn't really need.

Not sure if that'll predict the future, but it's curious to say the least and makes you wonder how many of the signatures were fakes.

Will it be a close election? Of course it will -- it was close the first time. But it's ridiculous that my tax dollars are paying for another election because some babies don't realize that "elections have consequences." Apparently that's only true when THEIR side wins. <_<

Your tax dollars? The people came out en masse to demand a recall. Walker is so far to the right the good folks of Wisconsin have rebeled against him. Walker's administration caused the recall and the people have the right to recall him. Walker will lose by a minimum of 10 points which in politics is a landslide.

That's a load of hogwash and if you lived in the state, you'd know it.

The barrier for a recall election is VERY LOW. You only need signatures from 25% of the people who voted in the election. So you get two million people voting, you only need 500,000 of them to sign a piece of paper to trigger a recall. What second place politician DOESN'T get 25% of the vote in the real election, let alone be able to get some signatures on a piece of paper? There's a reason that there were a ton of recall elections late last year -- because the barrier is TOO low.

Last summer there was a State Supreme Court election. While judges are not supposed to be on a "side," it was clear that Prosser was the "Republican" candidate and Kloppy was the "Democrat" candidate. All of the dems were making it out to be a referendum on Walker -- and how the state was going to revolt and Kloppy was going to win. Guess who the Supreme Court justice is? Prosser. It was a very close election -- but that's because the state is still roughly 50/50 in politics in general.

Also, did you know the website to recall Walker was registered the day of the election? Almost like the left was planning this, regardless of what policies he put in place.....

Your tax dollars? The people public unions came out en masse to demand a recall. Walker is so far to the right the good folks of Wisconsin crooks losing their free meal tickets have rebeled against him. Walker's administration Butt-hurt union leaders who are terrified that people in other states will realize that public union busting is a good idea caused the recall and the people unions have the right to recall him when he doesn't bend over backwards to give them more.

Fixed for accuracy.

Walker will lose by a minimum of 10 points which in politics is a landslide.

I wouldn't go putting money on that prediction, if I were you.

IMHO, he will win/lose by 1 percentage point, similar to how he won 1.5 years ago.

Rasmussen has Walker up by 5 right now. If it is true that the state of Wisconsin is in better financial health without laying people off, and the people of Wisconsin know this, then all the crying and drum-banging isn't going to save the unions. Their best hope was to get the union person on the ticket, and they couldn't even do that. From the outside looking in, all Walker has to do is say "We already went through this once. This is what happened since then. Do you really think this is the time to go back to a union-run government?"

Their best bet, their real best bet...would have been to read and accept the writing that was so clearly on the wall 2.5 years ago leading up to the 2010 elections.

The best thing they could have done is get ahead of the issue and at least have a chance of a controlled landing rather than a complete crash. Instead, they decided to go to war, which many accurately predicted they would get spanked in. Forget Walker, that's just a battle...look what Cuomo did, and what all the other Govs have done, the war is being lost nation-wide.

We posted, or at least I did, right here that if they didn't start compromising, then it would be open season on unions in every state, and that every Governor, regardless of party, would go on offense, big time.

Well....except for California  sorry dude....hasn't that been exactly what has happened the last 2 years?

Too bad pBills isn't here to take his medicine...that would have been fun.

I think Walker will win but what a blow to Republicans if he loses! Glad I don't live in that state though.

There's nothing more ridiculous than watching liberals cast opinions on hypotheticals.

While you're at it, tell us again how much worse things would have been without the stimulus. And then tell us again how much better things would have been with a larger stimulus. <_<
