I read a draft article today that NFL teams wait till the week before the draft to set up their draft boards. So while some of the information is smokescreen BS, some of it isn't since there there are always surprising risers and fallers in every draft. I doubt that either Kalil or Blackmon fall to the Bills though. If one of them did then some team would probably trade up before the tenth pick.

Yes and no. Nix said this past week that the team's draft board was set up in January. It is always changing but it goes through fairly substantial changes after the combine, and after all of the scouting and interviews have been completed, and they will finalize their board this week right before the draft.

He also said that he would estimate 70% of the player's draft grade is simply looking at the game tape (as well as scouts watching live games). And all of the combines and interviews and background checks and workouts/pro days together compose 30%.
