JoeF Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I would be from the gaseous generation of which you speak. RIP Mr. Clark....from generations of teeny boppers you led and inspired.

JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 And yet he still looks very much like he did 50 years ago.
Chef Jim Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 And yet he still looks very much like he did 50 years ago. So do I. Oh you said looks, I thought you said acts.

/dev/null Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Dick Clark was a staple on New Years for decades Dick Clark dies in 2012 + 2012 Mayan Apocalypse = No 2013
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I wonder if they're going to have 2 dancers rate his funeral music. "It's got a good beat and you can dance to it... I give it a 3"
LewPort71 Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 D C will always be remembered for 'American Bandstand' but my favorite memory of DC on TV is when he hosted my favorite game show 'The $25,000 Pyramid" RIP

Marv's Neighbor Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Obviously I'm sorry to hear of his passing but REALLY...he should have given up the New Year's eve gig after the stroke!
Chef Jim Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Obviously I'm sorry to hear of his passing but REALLY...he should have given up the New Year's eve gig after the stroke! Why?
Bufcomments Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 http://www.tmz.com/2012/04/18/dick-clark-dead-heart-attack/ Id say he wasnt really part of my generation, but I think he was a part of all of our generations. Except maybe some of you real old farts. I surprised there are not more posts t this. Dick Clark WAS music on TV for a long time. I remember watching his show all the time. That and Soul Train almost every weekend. I loved that show as a kid. I really felt sorry for him after he had his stroke and STILL was on New Years Eve. That told me everything about the guy. RIP Mr. Clark
