3rdand12 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks for the list. Fletcher Cox is most surprising on that list. Guy is a monster and would love to have him, but certainly not a position of need. He might fit the title of Best Player Available at #10. Interesting how many 1st round types the Bills have brought in. Guys not projected to be available at #10 and guys projected to go in the teens and twenties. Bills draft board is either way different than most of the internet experts or Nix is considering moving around. Not too sure about the moving around by Nix, but Cox as BPA and a Bill would just be brutal. Quite an awesome fantasy line, and would be one of the best in the nfl. anything is possible right? at least half of these visits are due diligence and some are bluffs. But we shall soon see, eh?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 He also never started consistently, even in college. I am not saying he couldn't be a useful NFL player, but it is a BIG concern to me that he wasn't able to crack their starting lineup. He played two years at West Virginia after transferring from junior college. He was a situational pass rusher who put up big numbers as a junior. As a senior he was a full time starter. So basically you have concerns that he didn't start his junior year… his first year at West Virginia, in spite of the fact that he was a big contributor nonetheless. I think a much more valid concern would be that he played defensive end in college and projects as a linebacker in the NFL… and has virtually zero experience in coverage. THAT, would be my concern.
