ThurmasThoman Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 here we go again guys. according to PFT, turns out the schedule has "visits scheduled to other days of the week, and could be getting on a computer to check out friday or saturday as early as today." i knew we would have to overpay just to get the schedule to consider coming out today. have you guys ever even been to friday or saturday? there's so much more to do on those days that a schedule would think as a more appealing release date. plus, how long has it been since we've had a fun tuesday? 12 years? i bet most schedules coming out these days dont even remember the last time tuesday was fun. i know PFT articles should be taken with a grain of salt, but didn't we all secretly feel this way since it was first leaked that the schedule was considering coming out today. fat chance. same old song and dance. go tuesdays!
Just Jack Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Bump. You don't need to bump a pinned thread. Rumors from One Bills Drive is the schedule, while working out, beat Leif Larsons bench press record.

DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 So at 7pm will we know the full schedule or are they going to do like the draft and do something like "and with the 3rd game of the 2012/2013 schedule the Buffalo Bills week 1 game will be against ____"?
papazoid Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) Any schedule leaks yet? we have the 3rd "easiest" schedule..... http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/56896/2012-nfl-strength-of-schedule EDIT: and the bad news....New England has the easiest.....laffin. eball Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I wouldn't call that a "leak" papazoid, since SOS has been available since the season ended. Anyway, regardless of how easy the Pats* have it, the Bills have the opportunity to put a nice little record together if they shore up the weak spots, add some depth, and stay healthy.

My GUESS (and that's all it is) is given that this is the last year in the Toronto series contract, the Front Office will want a sell out. best chance is to put the marquee "home" game there. That would have to mean the Patriots. So - I am predicting Patriots "at" Bills in Toronto sometime in late October - early November. As to the Home Opener, I expect it to be week 2 and I predict it will be St Louis. Maybe Billsstart the season - on the road - and at Indianapolis. The obvious national game is Bills at Houston. Just guesses....I have found no leaks anywhere....same as last year. Two year's ago, the Dolphins leaked their schedule a few hours early. Edited April 17, 2012 by richNjoisy

I miss the old days when there would be so many different team leaks that we could have 75% of the Bills schedule figured out before the official release.
todd Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 One thing is for sure - we'll play the Pats after their bye. Guaranteed, write it down.
BillsWatch Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Maybe the NFL will stick the home 'opener' in Toronto just to pump up interest in the game. I know we would hate it but it is a league type of thing to do.
eball Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 All this talk about a "marquee" game in Toronto is nonsense. The NFL and Bills know they made a mistake putting the Dolphins and Jets games in Toronto. The last two years it's been NFC teams, and that's what I expect to occur again this season. Seattle or St. Louis are coming to Toronto. Seattle makes the most sense.
Beerball Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Early indications are that the Detroit Lions will be opening their season hosting the Green Bay Packers on Monday night, according Fox 2 sports reporter Jennifer Hammond. The 2012 NFL schedule is set to be released on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. (ET) but already a few early leaks are getting out. The New England Patriots have already announced via their Twitter page that the Patriots will be on primetime four times this season, which matches their total from last year. So we know the Patriots won't be opening against Peyton Manning's Broncos or Jim Harbaugh's 49ers (they play both of those teams at home). The potential Week 1 opponents are down to the Ravens, Titans, Seahawks, Jaguars, Bills, Dolphins or Jets.
Roger Goodell Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Please, please, please, give us a primetime game at the Ralph. That's all I ask. The league would like to review the alcohol policies at Ralph Wilson Jr. Stadium before we go there again.
Beerball Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 12 games to look forward to in 2012 could provide some primetime hints #11 Buffalo at Houston

sullim4 Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Tricky bastards... http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com/assets/pdf/2012-schedule.pdf Maybe it'll eventually end up here instead http://prod.static.b...13-schedule.pdf

I know we would hate it but it is a league type of thing to do. As a season ticket holder, that would really piss me off. The home opener is the most anticipated game of the year for me.
Beerball Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 WNST reports that the Ravens will host the Bengals on Monday, Sept. 10, which falls during Week 1 of the schedule Of course that gives us two leaked Monday night games in week 1...typically one would be West Coast.
