papazoid Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Warren Sapp, a future Hall of Famer and current NFL Network analyst, has filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Florida on claims he racked up millions in debt to several creditors. Sapp owes more than $6.7 million in debt to creditors and back child support and alimony. The outstanding amount outweighs Sapp’s 6.45 million in assets, which will be liquidated as a result of his filing for Chapter 7. Sapp lists his current income as $45,000 per month from NFL Network. His contract with the network expires in August 2012. NoSaint Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) They always have crazy alimony and more often 12 kids to support. Sex Ed at the rookie symposium. Edited April 7, 2012 by NoSaint
boyst Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Kind of funny to me, as I have only heard from anyone who's ever met him that he is a giant a-hole. The guy would refuse little kids autographs and stuff. You reap what you sew.

DrDawkinstein Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 They always have crazy alimony and more often 12 kids to support. Sex Ed at the rookie symposium. Magic Johnson got HIV and spent his money to all but cure it, and he is still fine financially. This just proves that pregnancy is the worst STD out there.
Dr. Fong Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Why the hell is the NFL network paying him that much? That's crazy.
DrDawkinstein Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Why the hell is the NFL network paying him that much? That's crazy. Ehh, it comes to $540K/year. Sounds about right for those guys.
Dr. Fong Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Ehh, it comes to $540K/year. Sounds about right for those guys. Sounds like a waste of money to me. Sapp is horrible.
papazoid Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 i bet he names jaremy shockey as a creditor in a pre-emptive move......it's the only thing that makes sense.....the diff between his assets and liabilities is not that great.

You think Jeremy Shockey is enjoying this news? I bet he's been smiling all day long.

#34fan Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Sometimes I wonder why we revere these guys so much. For the most part, they're a bunch of schmucks.
Pilsner Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) It's so simple...so damn simple... Spend less than you make and don't put yourself in a situation that compromises this. Gosh...these fools. No additional education is needed to understand such a simple concept. Self control has a hand in this tho, or lack of it. Well perhaps he will wisen up...or he won't. Edited April 7, 2012 by Pilsner
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Damn, you guys are all bigots - you just don't "understand" how it all works and that he's just "keeping it real". Sapp says he only has $6.45 million to his name ... and lists all of his assets in the documents ... which include: -- 240 pairs of Jordan sneakers and sandals -- Large Nude women painting -- Lion skin rug (female - lioness) -- Nike golf clubs -- De Grisogono watch (scratch on crystal, nicks and scratches on band) -- A boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali
eball Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Surprise, surprise -- guys in their 20s and 30s don't know how to act financially responsible when handed a lot of money. No sympathy for Sapp from this observer.
Mr. WEO Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Couldn't have happened to a bigger douchebag. He's now rehearsing his lines for his next job interview: "welcome to the casino at Mohegan Sun, the blackjack tables are to your left."
