BuffaloBillsSD Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 There is a reason that picks traded for the following draft are a round higher than the pick being used this year, you have to ensure that pick you are getting is not lower than the one you are giving up. A 1st round pick next year should only cost a second this year, if the #10 pick is given up then you would have to get a pick in the top 5 next year for it to be worth it. Good luck guessing who those teams will be, no one would have predicted that Indy, StL, Minn, TB would be 1,2,3,5 this year. It would have been reasonable to pick Cleveland as a bottom 5 team so that leaves an 80% chance of failure.
