Go Bills!!!
ndirish1978 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 We waste our 1st rounder on a guard? The rest of the draft sounds like you just picked the guys you've heard of. Pass
John from Riverside Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I like....a couple of thoughts - Trading from 10-13 makes taking Cordy Glenn much more justifiable......Cordy Glenn has played every line positon...he is much like Hairston....In the end I think Glenn is a LT in the NFL who will maul you most the time and occasionally get beat - The compensation looks about right....I think a 3rd is all we aregonna get this year in a trade down - Would really rather have a WR in the 2nd like Sanu....who is a beast - Like getting Cousins in the 3rd.....I think we should get a corner and cousins in the 3rd and use both or 4th round picks on linebackers
auburnbillsbacker Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I would rather have DeCastro than a 3rd and Glenn

Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I would rather have DeCastro than a 3rd and Glenn This Also why the Cousins love?
JPS Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 This Also why the Cousins love? Because he's a leader with talent.
ChanOverChin Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I really like the trade down, which is almost a must for the Bills. I'd like to see the Bills get a CB earlier than in R4, however. We could use someone who could compete for a starting spot along with A. Williams, D. Florence, and T. McGee.

If this situation were to happen, I would much rather take Kirkpatrick, Gilmore, Kendall Wright or Kuechly at #13.
Astrobot Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Corey Glenn is a versatile player who can play LT in this league. Lavonte David or Bobby Wagner here would be good backup at OLB. Cousins is better than Osweiler. good pick. Marvin Jones is the traded pick and he will need some work, but should be a good backup to Easley, I think. I like Bentley at CB. Good value, but won't play this year. Take Carder here, and Datko later.
jaybills Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Why take Cousins when you can land Russell Wilson?

Everyone knows that the "best mock draft yet" was already posted by "one of the biggest bills fan on here" in another thread. He'll tell you as much.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 I like it, Damon. I like both Glenn and Lavonte David a lot. I think Glenn can be developed into an outstanding LOT and in a worst-case scenario would be a perennial Pro Bowler at guard. David fits the mold of the speedy, instinctive linebacker that Wannstedt favors.
808 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 kirk cousins>russel wilson. hes a lot like christian ponder imo and the bills really liked him.

Most analysts are saying David Decastro is the best guard prospect they have seen in TEN YEARS! So you would pass on him to draft another guard who might not even be good enough to start, just to gain a 3rd round pick? If you were the GM you would get fired the day of the draft. Fired or assassinated by the Bills fans, whichever came first. Do you know what you usually get with a 3rd round pick? In 2010 Carrington and 2011 Sheppard. Sheppard stinks out loud and Carrington will never be anything but a back up. I wouldn't give up the highest rated offensive lineman in the draft to gain a pick that would get a "Sheppard".

I hope Cousins is there at #3 because he would be a great one to groom
