Steve O Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Just saw Revis on NFL32. When asked who gave him the toughest time, mentioned Fitzgerald, Moss, Ochocinco, no mention of Stevie. Either he's trying to put the two games this year out of his mind, or he doesn't want to let someone he faces twice a year to let him know he's in his head.

It was a BS answer. He rarely ever plays AZ, Moss is out of the league, and Ochocinco is a joke.

Sounds like he was pulling names off the top of his head. Revis likes to see himself quoted, so I take anything he says with a grain of salt.

In which case, how is it a bit of both ? Dude is just 'fraid of the Johnson Edited March 29, 2012 by Fan in Chicago
Buftex Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I just saw that on NFL32...and I saw it yesterday. I don't watch that show every day, but do they just re-run it? I thought it was new every day...crazy...

Yea - two pretty good HoF type talents but no mention of Stevie. What a jerk!

It's in My Blood Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 If the host had any balls, he would've said "what about Stevie Johnson, ya know, the guy that owned your ass last year".
Ozymandius Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I've always thought that Revis' struggles against Stevie proved that Stevie is not a #1 receiver. Since Revis shuts down #1 WRs.
FrankReichComeback Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 If the host had any balls, he would've said "what about Stevie Johnson, ya know, the guy that owned your ass last year". Â Anyone have the numbers that Stevie rang up on Revis this year? I remember the game in NY was one his best all season (minus "the drop" of course)
truth on hold Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) Numbers don't lie. SJ put up the best against him Edited March 29, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
Malazan Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Good lord, Buffalo fans. Grow a thicker skin, this is not a slight.
Steve O Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 Anyone have the numbers that Stevie rang up on Revis this year? I remember the game in NY was one his best all season (minus "the drop" of course) 84 the first game, 75 the second
Buftex Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 He forgot to mention T.O. Â I realize you are probably joking, but, in fact, he did mention T.O. I was waiting for him to say Lance Alworth!
truth on hold Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 84 the first game, 75 the second And if not for the drop where he had clearly beaten Beavis, he goes well over 100 with 2 TDs.
Doc Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Good lord, Buffalo fans. Grow a thicker skin, this is not a slight. Nobody said it was a slight. It's just that Revis can't admit that Stevie owned him last year.
Never NEVER Give-up Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 The Jets/Cards played twice since 2004 (2004 & 2008 - Jets won both).
3rdnlng Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I was switching channels and I believe caught about 2-3 minutes of the Jim Rome show yesterday and Revis was asked that question. He mentioned Stevie as the toughest to cover.
