thewildrabbit Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Wallace wants more money than Fitzgerald. We don't want to end up in salary cap limbo, as the Raiders were this year, a couple of years down the line. I'd rather take our chances in the draft at this point. In case you guys don't know what Fitzgerald made last year...it was 15 million. Do the Bills even have that much cap space? So Wallace wants MORE money then 15 million a year. Calvin Johnson is getting 18.8 http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nfl/average/wide-receiver/ Even if the Bills really wanted Wallace at 15 mill + they would need to trade back in the draft with possibly Cincy who might still covet Trent Richardson at the #10, "IF" he is still there at 10. Trade that #10 spot for Cincy''s 2 #1's , #17 & #21. With the #17 the Bills could still get a top O linemen and give up that 21st to Pitt for Wallace. Or they could do that trade and draft the O linemen at #17 and then draft WR Stephen Hill at #21. 6' 5" 220 lbs and runs a 4.36, 40.
QCity Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Guys, Do your homework, Pittsburgh can only afford about $5m a year, that's all they have left. Wallace is worth the #10 overall and $10 million a year for 3 years + Bonus $$$$$........If you wanna get out of the cellar, you gotta think big, stop thinking we can't do it and think we can and make it happen........Watch Wallace the next few years and you will see why he wants Big Money. Like I said earlier, any #10 overall pick is a risk vs. a proven talent, pull the trigger Buddy. $10 million a year for 3 years?? He wants 8 years at $120+ million lol. Mike Wallace told 49ers he wants more than Larry Fitzgerald
