BillsInMaine Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I really like this kid. He was injured for the most part during his Sr season, but has posted outstanding numbers at his pro day. 6'3" 219lbs(40-yard dash 4.40, 40 1/2-inch vertical jump, and 10-foot-7 broad jump) His Jr season he was having a great year before he tore his right patellar tendon (Knee). Jr season stats (46 rec 659 yds, 6 TDs) in only 7 games. It dosent seem the injury has set him back now that he is fully healthy. Theres my 2 cents and I think we could draft him in the 3rd. Maybe something like 1. David DeCastro 2. Dont'a Hightower 3. Greg Childs...tear it up guys
djsabres Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Or Joe Adams or Jarius Wright. All three tore it up. Anyone remember Adams punt return against Tenn.
The Rev.Mattb74 ESQ. Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 no way Hightower makes it out of the first round, Big physical LBs that can play inside or outside in a3-4 or 4-3 who is an emotional leader that lined up the front seven of the best defence in college football history. If it wasnt for the injury the guy would be a top ten pick.
Dr. Fong Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Back to back seasons with significant time missed to injury. That'd definitely be a risk. I guess a third round pick could be worth the risk, but I think we already have a WR on the roster that can't find his way to the field.
FluffHead Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Heck of a player when healthy. Him and Mallet were tearing it up together two seasons ago. CHILDS PLEASE!!
