I was just going to post this. Irvin is a freak who just might be best pass rusher in this draft. He is raw but an outstanding athlete (4.38 at 245 pounds) who just might be athletic enough to mirror Gronkowki. OLB is an area of need- and you can never have too many passrushers. Irvin is rising up draft boards and would be a great addition to our attacking d. LT, CB, WR are our other top needs IMO

Highlight reel - lol at him destroying that tackle at 2:45

He was moving up in the rounds recently, but he got arrested for destruction of property last week.

I dream of him falling to the Bills in round 3. Really like him. But the combine help improve his status to the 2nd round.

Hes my 2nd favorite defender in this draft after Courtney Upshaw

Wasn't impressed with him when I watched wvu this season. He's fast but he's small. Seemed like a one trick pony as a pass rusher in the big least conference.

These players that get in trouble in college are regular college kids doing stupid things. If you take an athlete like this guy and put him in a situation where he can be around positive role models he will be just fine. He looks really explosive and if we could pick him up in rnd 2 that would be great. Don't think he will make it to rnd 3.

What I like more about the Irvin even more than the 4.38-4.5 forty is the 4.03 20 yard shuttle, that's CB type movement, on the minus side I guess one of the reasons he was just a pass rush specialist was that he had problems learning assignments- you can be superman but if you don't now where you are suppose to be and who you're suppose to cover it's going to be hard to be anything but a one trick pony.

You're wrong.

He's 6'3" and 245 pounds. He's a very physical player who played against 300 pound tackles as a 5 technique defensive end in a 3 man front. He held the point very well and plays a very violent and tenacious game with a great motor.

Not only was his 20-yard shuttle by far the best at the combine but his 3-cone drill also put everyone else to shame (Keuchly, Zach Brown, etc).

His movement skills are elite… as good and better than Von Miller's times were last year.

His tape shows great instincts and football IQ so I disagree with your theory that he had trouble learning assignments.

Wvu was good enough to put up 70plus on ACC champ Clemson, and beat the big 12 powerhouse Oklahoma a few yrs back too.

After watching many games of his he is not the best pass rusher in the draft however having him at OLB rush the passer like Von Miller did, I would be all for it, he could be there in the second.

NOOO this dude is a thug head case. He's a fast Burfect

Would like Tank and Dre too. Carder is as instinctive and way more physical than Kuechly just not as fast and KP is a very physical corner who makes big plays.

No he's not and no one is as big of train wreck "Defect".

I like Irvin physically he's a monster. However it's hard to project him since WVU IIRC runs a 3-3-5 defense. I'd be all aboard Irvin in the late first, early second though.
