JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey insists he wanted quarterback Tim Tebow. Speaking before a fan event Thursday night, Mularkey indicated reports saying otherwise were false. "Don't believe everything you hear or read in the media," Mularkey said. "It's hard not to want a guy like that. We wouldn't have tried to trade for him if we didn't feel like we didn't want to have him here. There were a lot of things that went into this thing to try to get Tim to come here. "In the long run, it did not work out. But if you do not want a player, you don't even get involved with it." What?
Punch Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 What? Trying to make sense of that "took the sails out of my wind".
LynchMob23 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 What? Don't forget in his final PC's he also said the famous "They took the sails right out of our wind" ala Bullough as well!
The Senator Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) Don't forget in his final PC's he also said the famous "They took the sails right out of our wind" ala Bullough as well! Yeah but when he said that, he actually thought he was being clever - dude's so stupid that he didn't realize how vilified Bullough was after that remark. God...now that I think about it, both those guys - Williams and Mularkey - were so repugnant that they actually made Dick Jauron look like such a class act. (Which, BTW, he was - just not such a great HC.) GO BILLSSS!!!! 19 anx 0 baby!!!!! . Edited March 23, 2012 by The Senator
