ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 In the spirit of the original post - - a list of pros for Tebow:
Griz Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 ...the fat drunk guy in Row 3, Seat 5. Hey... that's where I sit!!
Glory Bound Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 "LEAD" a team or "HAPPEN TO BE" the team's QB when they make the playoffs in spite of him in a week division? Many question Tebow's athletic ability, but I've yet to read where anybody questions his leadership ability
DrDawkinstein Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 "LEAD" a team or "HAPPEN TO BE" the team's QB when they make the playoffs in spite of him in a week division? Then what does that say about Orton, the "better QB" who they were 1-4 under?
billsfan in n.h Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Because the guy CAN'T THROW A !@#$ING FOOTBALL FROM THE BEACH AND HIT THE OCEAN. Part of being a backup QB requires you to be able to throw a football with slightly more accuracy than the fat drunk guy in Row 3, Seat 5. Tebow is a great guy, a great team player and a running back trying desperately to be a QB. HEY!!! I'm not fat
Beach Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 i really dont want to hear his preaching when listening to a post game interview
Max Fischer Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 To quote Samir in Office Space, "This is horrible, this idea." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlA9bNk3b5Q
Bills!Win! Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Now that Elway came out of the closet and hates Tebow, he's probably willing to give him away for free.
Wayne Cubed Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 "HEY HEY THIS GUY ONE SOME GAMES AND HIS TEAM MADE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS, LETS SIGN HIM" I'm thinking, since Houston made it to the playoffs on the shoulders of a bunch of backup QB's, maybe we take a look at signing them?
BRH Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Please review this if still in doubt. Good god, are people's memories that short?
Numark Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 If i wasnt on my phone i would tell you in more words how much he sucks
Pirate Angel Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Thigpen can poorly run an NFL offense Tebow cannot run an NFL offense .......advantage Thigpen Tebow creates ridiculous actions by a fan base...such as wanting him to start Thigpens creates a gut turning emotion when the thought of him starting come to mind If your a bad team and want to watch backyard football as a way of exciting your season....advantage Tebow If your a good team that wants to field a serious offense...................advantage Thigpen Both are bad quarterbacks advantage......neither
Wayne Cubed Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Please review this if still in doubt. Good god, are people's memories that short? This! 37.9 Rating, gotta love it.
DrDawkinstein Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 If i wasnt on my phone i would tell you in more words how much he sucks That much worse than Thigpen? Thigpen is winning a playoff game last year?
BRH Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Good god, I hope the Broncos hurry up and trade that guy so we don't have to read this **** anymore. I'm only asking for $50 million guaranteed... and a turkey. Which latter is what you'll get if Tebow comes here
RyanC883 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Even if I wanted Tebow, Miami and Jacksonville are desperate to sell tickets and I'm not about to give up precious draft picks after getting in a bidding war for a backup QB...let's just keep the picks and draft a QB of the future. I'd give up a 4th rounder. If Jax or Miami want more, so be it. But offer a 4th and make those teams overpay if they want him. Tebow > Thigpen. Plus, we have a great QB coach.
muggins Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Lol, Thigpen is god-awful but we don't need the Tebow drama on this team. We're gonna win this year. We need a backup for sure. I don't know if there are any other backups out there but Thigpen was god-awful in the snaps I saw him play.
ieatcrayonz Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 As a side note to this thread: 1. Please follow the protocol. 2. If your not going to use proper grammar your not going to be taken seriously.
CodeMonkey Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 > So...why not have Buffalo sign the guy as a backup to Fitz. because he's a huge distraction and not a very good quarterback You mean as opposed to Thigpen? But I will grant you the distraction part because there would be an instant controversy, at least by some fans, as to who should start.
