SDS Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 I am test driviing a 300 for a week and all i can say is that I'm really impressed. This V8 has some serious balls. 0-80 mph in a blink of an eye and when you are going it 80 - the ride is so smooth you feel like you are going 30. The interior is very tasteful - fit and finish are excellent. I've had 10 people test drive it so far and everyone has liked it. The car is solid. Feels like you are driving a tank. A very FAST tank. It would be nice if the quality turns out to be good because Chrysler has a winner here. My friend said it was by far the best car they have ever built quality wise since he has been w/ the company.
Just Jack Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 How did you get it for a week? Sounds like you know someone with a dealership or the company. I know GM has a 24 hour test drive program, but this would be the first I've heard of that's a week.
IDBillzFan Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Did it come with a free gangsta rap CD? (Sorry man. Just kidding.)
Mark VI Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 http://www.nctd.com/review-intro.cfm?Vehic...0&ReviewID=1557 That is a nice car.

I'd really rather not rent a vehicle.

Alaska Darin Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Anyone take pot shots at you yet? West side!
SDS Posted December 28, 2004 Author Posted December 28, 2004 What's you impression regarding outward visiblilty? 181967 Well, it is certainly less than other cars, but I haven't been bothered by it at all. Then again, I haven't tried to parallel park it either. It wouldn't hold me back.

There is something I'd be curious to hear about. Too many cars have a crappy turning radius.

My friends old cop car whips around pretty good. It's the officiel Po-Piece of the Buffalo Bills.

Losman-McGahee-Evans Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 I bought the Magnum wagon and love it as well although my wife bought a new Mustang for her XMas present and I have to say I wouldn't trade my wagon for her GT even though we had a blast in it this weekend in the mountains. Did you get leather?
ROCCEO Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 300: 19.5'crown vic: 20' 181997 All the more impressive.

The 300 just doesn't match up. I know this belief is shared by many WNY'ers who have had them both.
