I think he and Gilbert will compete in the DT pool along with Heard, Troup, Johnson and anyone else they bring in- Carrington and Gilbert will both probably play at around 300-305lbs give or take 5lbs so they may be considered a little undersized but they are both really strong and will be really quick compared to most DTs - I think DW likes a very fast defense and believes in platooning his defensive line and having at least 9 DLinemen M Williams, Dareus, K Williams, Merriman could be the first line with Kelsay, Carrington, Gilbert, Anderson being the second then maybe S Johnson being the 9th guy- of course all we can be pretty sure of now is that M Williams, Dareus, and Kyle Williams are starters after that everything is up in the air depending on how people return from injury, Free agency, and the draft - after the starting 3 there are 13 players on the Bills contending for 6 DL positions that's not counting anyone we bring in from FA or the draft.
mountainwampus Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 He hasn't done much, but he did block some kicks and batted a few balls (one of which was intercepted by Wilson) Hopefully, he will make the team as a back-up DT along with Heard. I think Troup and Spencer Johnson should hit the road.
