McD Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Ralph feels he's coming down the home stretch and really wants a shot at something great before he crosses the finish line.
Bills of Boston Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Even the little things matter... he left Baltimore yesterday to meet with us and signed within 24 hours.
Billsrhody Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Anyone have details on the contract yet? 4 years at what?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Fantastic news. I've been advocating keeping all of our D-Lineman until we absolutely, positively have to cut them just because injuries can happen at any time during the offseason/training camp. The only exception to this is Dwan Edwards, more for his own sake than anything else. If the Bills are truly going to be a base 4-3, I say cut him now and give him a chance to sign on with a 3-4 team.
dollars 2 donuts Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm PO'd this isn't getting more attention around the NFL today.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm PO'd this isn't getting more attention around the NFL today. I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF THE TEBOW!
John from Riverside Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I have come to the conclusion that Ralph WIlson has been kidnapped by aliens who are bills fans and replaced him with a look a like......and Buddy and Nix know about it and are just going with the flow!
McD Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I hope Anderson can give us some extra inside info on Tommy Boy and the way they run the O. He should have had lots of reps against him.
buffaloaggie Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Didn't Brady warn him about Buffalo's crappy hotel situation Best way around having to stay in a Buffalo hotel is to sign here and get your own place
Captain Hindsight Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Im sure we overpayed. Its tough to get free agents to come to Buffalo. Ralph is cheap. I hate this team
Offside Number 76 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 What happens to Kelsay? I had assumed he would switch back to end in the 4-3. Is he going to remain at OLB or is he no longer a starter?
John from Riverside Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 the thing is....Anderson isn't a old aging vet....he is a young guy who can get even better
Frostbelt City Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Well this sure changes our draft lookout. Let's focus on the offense, now. Sign Bell and draft Malcolm Floyd?!
LeviF Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm PO'd this isn't getting more attention around the NFL today. TEBOW TEBOW TEBOW Honestly, I hope ESPN and the like stay quiet about the rest of the Bills signings. !@#$ 'em, let them be blindsided so that they look like fools in September/October and (hopefully) November/December/January.
Billsrhody Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 So this means we're almost definitely not taking a DE in round 1 right?
Doc Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Im sure we overpayed. Its tough to get free agents to come to Buffalo. Ralph is cheap wasteful. I hate this team Fixed.
boyst Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Do you mean Dwan? Dwan Edwards? I am not expert on the nuances of salary vs salary cap Sports City reports that his salary next year is $2.6 million but his cap # is $5.1. Not sure what we get back if he's cut. Same source has Spencer Johnson one of the higher-paid players at $3 million. Kelsay is $2 million with a cap hit of $4.2 million (same source) If we can save a significant bit of that and sign Anderson, I think Edwards and Johnson are gone. My phone don't know Dwan.
billsFORlife50 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 On paper it really appears as if Buffalo has the best D-line in the NFL now hopefully this will transition to the field!!! With this no longer being a position of need I fully believe that we will grab Malcolm Floyd if he is available. If he is not I believe it will be Jonathan Martin as he actually played LT in college and that means a lot compared to Reiff who started every year at RT.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I hope Anderson can give us some extra inside info on Tommy Boy and the way they run the O. He should have had lots of reps against him. This and get 12 sacks.
