Kelly the Dog Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 From Twitter: Alex Marvez BTW - #Bills close to signing DE Mark Anderson and should be done soon, @FOXSports.com has learned. Story coming asap unrelated but funny: From Kirk Morrison/Merriman: Lol. You silly RT @shawnemerriman: Christ I won't even buy or use "Bounty" paper towels no more #Crazy That bounty line is hysterical.
Punch Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 NickBarnett @NickBarnett B. Scott signed just had lunch with Mark Anderson looks like he likes B-Lo too
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 That was a pretty good tweet on Merriman's part, I'll give him that.
Billsrhody Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I heard 4 year deal on boston sports radio. I'll try to find a link
NickelCity Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) Probably classical conditioning, but with every hopeful bit of news/signing, I hear: (please ignore the slideshow of mediocre players who are no longer here) Edited March 21, 2012 by NickelCity
KD in CA Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Come on Mark, get yourself to Buffalo! Sign Anderson, draft one of the OTs at #10 and things are looking good!
McD Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Is this really happening...? Our D-line can go from a weakness to a HUGE strength. I know everyone wanted Mario, but to add Anderson to the mix really gives the Bills a formidable front 4 with a pretty decent rotation too. It also really gives us some flexibility in the draft because I was still looking at a D-line addition (hoping the Bills could trade down to #15 and pick up Ingram or Upshaw). Looks like if we can get this done, we can look at OL, WR, LB and CB for the majority of the draft.
syhuang Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 https://twitter.com/#!/RapSheet/status/182521493324972032 Ex-Patriots DE Mark Anderson has agreed to a 4-year deal with the Bills, according @sportstarsnyc. He'll tag team with Super Mario

Santana Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Apparently this deal should be getting done anytime now....GO BILLS!!!
Acantha Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Stating the obvious here, but holy **** this line is going to be incredible.
NickelCity Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I still can't believe just how incredible this is BEFORE the draft. Remaining wishlist: Bell accepts our original offer, we draft Martin anyway at 10, WR in the 2nd.
The Wiz Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) We are gonna need a bigger freezer!!!! Yes we are. This line is going to be fierce. Edited March 21, 2012 by The Wiz
GOBILLS78 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm very late to this party. How is he against the run?
McD Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I know Wiki is suspect, but I like the way this looks! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Anderson_%28American_football%29
Captain Hindsight Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I know Wiki is suspect, but I like the way this looks! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Anderson_%28American_football%29 Look like Kyle Willaims gave up his number for him too
dayman Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I still can't believe just how incredible this is BEFORE the draft. Remaining wishlist: Bell accepts our original offer, we draft Martin anyway at 10, WR in the 2nd. That's what the insiders call a "flawless offseason."
richNjoisy Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 That's what the insiders call a "flawless offseason." You can't rule out a WR in the 1st - depends on how things fall..... Plus there are still a few decent OT's left in free agency.
BUFFALOKIE Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I know Wiki is suspect, but I like the way this looks! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Anderson_%28American_football%29 Holy ShiZ!!!!! We finally got us another OKIE!!!!! I had no idea this fine young fellow played ball in the greatest high school football region in the country! I know who's jersey I'm buying. Welcome to the Buffalo Bills young man. Seriously, I'm gonna have to hit him up somehow. There aren't very many Bills fan here in T-Town. Anderson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, and was a letterman in football and basketball. He was a teammate in both sports of Robert Meachem and Felix Jones, both also current NFL football players. In football, he was an All-Metro selection and was named as a Big 12 Prep pick. Mark Anderson graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 2001. Anderson recorded 104 tackles and 9 sacks along with 9 receptions and 3 touchdowns during his senior season to help the Hornets to an 11-2 record. In his best game he notched 20 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 blocked punts in 1 game as a senior
