Many of us refrained from "taking sides" until more information came out. It appears as if GZ got out of his vehicle, called 911 and started to follow TM. The 911 operator advised him to not follow TM and asked for an address. GZ went around to the front of a building to give the operator a unit # and then attempted to return to his vehicle. As he was approaching his vehicle TM confronted GZ, got the upper hand and as he was banging GZ's head on the cement GZ pulled his weapon out and shot him. We are limited to what information has been released to the public. I say that it appears this way because of the information (verbal statements and physical evidence) that has been released. It also could be that the prosecution has a bunch of evidence that has not been released and is contrary to what is out there. For their sake I would hope so, otherwise bringing GZ to trial is just a political game. For me to have personally formed the opinion that GZ appears to be not guilty meant that I actually had to read up on the case and filter through all the media nonsense about "coons", Skittles, weight differential and pictures of a 12 year old boy. I did at first but as more information about the case came out I think GZ should be charge with manslaughter not murder.
