EDinRTP Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Anyone attend the concert last night? Looking for reviews...saw a post where Brian Culbertson said there was a great crowd in Buffalo. Seen his performances before...always great, but this time no band...only two pianos.

ajzepp Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I am so envious of people who appreciate this genre of music. I have tried, but I just cannot connect with it. The exception is a female jazz vocalist...I can get into that a bit. Holly Cole is one example. But that's not the pure jazz music that our culture is known for. It's a shame, cause jazz recordings tend to be much higher in quality than more mainstream stuff, and they sound fantastic on my audio rig. Maybe one day it'll click...I can hope.
