Overseas Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Don't say the name. Say the position. I trust CHIX to chose the best player. I say Tackle. Remember, just the position.
Reed83HOF Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Trade down a spot or 2 to get 10 pics like Nix wants... WR
LabattBlue Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Trade down a spot or 2 to get 10 pics like Nix wants... WR What is this Nix wants 10 picks stuff? The last two years they had 9 picks. If they added an extra 7th round pick this year, that will make or break us?
BBeck/cuba Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 LT Should be an easy choice. Hopeing for #2 LT in draft.

Besides with that extra 7th rounder we might get another Stevie!
Pete Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 BPA +1 always BPA. And question for the dogmatic amateur GM's who draft for need. Hypothetically, if Andrew Luck fell to 10 do you select him? Always BPA regardless of position! Anything but a DB or a Guard. If Morris Claiborne slid to 10 - do you select him? In a New York minute!
GOBILLS78 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 The player at the top of their board. Position won't matter, with the obvious exceptions.
ndirish1978 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) I'm editing because I originally said OT, then thought about it and realized Martin may not be the BPA. Is the 3rd tackle off the board better than the 2nd WR, CB? I dunno. I'll just say BPA knowing it could be any position. Edited March 16, 2012 by ndirish1978
Reed83HOF Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 With BPA, what do you do if the top rated RB (forgot his name and too lazy to look) falls that far?
mEAz Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 With BPA, what do you do if the top rated RB (forgot his name and too lazy to look) falls that far? Then you don't select Richardson, you take next BPA or look to trade down +1 always BPA. And question for the dogmatic amateur GM's who draft for need. Hypothetically, if Andrew Luck fell to 10 do you select him? Always BPA regardless of position! If Morris Claiborne slid to 10 - do you select him? In a New York minute! Absolutely!!!!!!! You can get in real trouble if you draft solely on need.
biggerdaddynj Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 LT. No brainer--how do you ignore one of the most important positions especially when you don't have one?
PaattMaann Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 long snapper...the incumbent has gone too long without any challengers pushing him
