NastyMan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I was just listening to NFL radio and they mentioned something about the Vikings may be looking to trade J. Allen. Do you think they would take a 4th rounder for him or maybe a third since we have 2 4th rounders? Could you imagine that line Mario, Dareus, Kyle, and Jared wow!!

RealityCheck Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 i hate to say chill out at a time like this but.... mario was always realistic. mario and jared allen is not. A D-line like that would go straight to the comic books.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 A D-line like that would go straight to the comic books. I'm not sure what this means?
Doc Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No doubt Allen is looking to make at least what Mario is.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No doubt Allen is looking to make at least what Mario is. He can look but he's still under contract.
Captain Hindsight Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think we have any cap room, like at all
White Linen Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think we have any cap room, like at all Yet you debated me on all the money you thought we had.
RealityCheck Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm not sure what this means? I'll explain. A front 4 with those guys is worthy of a comic book superhero storyline. First they crush Eli in a Super Bowl victory when the Giants kickers misses wide left. Then they crush RGbust in a second straight SB victory. The next saga is beating the hell out of Romo en route to another SB victory. And finally the clincher. They knock Romo out cold and beat Orton for their fourth straight Super Bowl victory, heroicly righting all the wrongs of the 90's. And they do this while fighting crime in every city they play.

You, my good sir are ridiculous. And i love it!! What would they call them? The Avengers seems appropriate but its not very original.
NoSaint Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think we have any cap room, like at all So meachem decided sandiego for money instead of here for free? We still have cash for a mid to even upper tier FA.
Omar Little Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think the Vikings are taking third- or fourth-rounders for a guy coming off a 22-sack season.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I think it would be a less effective move than adding a linebacker or cornerback...

Got it. While cooking killer b'lo wings for every fan in the city and pissing free beer, no doubt. I'd love to see it, I think our next move is a WR and renegotiating FJax.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think the Vikings are taking third- or fourth-rounders for a guy coming off a 22-sack season. Haha... interesting point. But I think a conditional 6th should do the trick.
Mark80 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I don't think the Vikings are taking third- or fourth-rounders for a guy coming off a 22-sack season. Exactly.
Buff_bills4ever Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 we are taking $25 mil cap hit for Mario this season. That leaves us with just about enough to sign our draft picks. We are done in FA.
Captain Hindsight Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Yet you debated me on all the money you thought we had. That was before 60 million guaranteed I'll explain. White Linen Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 That was before 60 million guaranteed Ok, so will you agree now that the idea of not extending Fred should be considered, and to use the money elsewhere ie Levitre, Byrd, and Wood.
