nikuman Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 With all that being said we haven't had that kind of impact since Schobel left !! Arron Schobel :worthy: !!!!!!! Bring Aaron Schobel back out of retirement! With two years rest, he may have a couple years of fire left in him.
bizell Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 fwiw, Chris Kelsay and Ryan Denney swapped jersey numbers about 5 years ago http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KelsCh21.htm kelsay has always been 90 it looks like denney gave up #90 when kelsay got here http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DennRy20.htm
Bmwolf21 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Too bad the NFL won't allow it, I think the single digit jersey numbers for DL and LB in college FB are pretty sweet. Agreed.
biglukes Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Chris Kelsay isn't getting cut. The organization loves him. He's a solid player. Nothing spectacular but you could do a lot worse.
The Cincinnati Kid Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Looking through the numbers on the roster, there are not any not taken in the 70s or the 90s except for 78...Dunno what that will mean come OTAs, but someone is going to have to give up a number...
BillsWatch Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No one needs to in OTAs, they can have duplicate numbers, Marketing will insist he have his number soon so they can push jersey sales and add pictures of him and jersey on website, literature, etc.
loserlovers Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I think Kelsay should offer it (for free), and Mario should say, naw man, you keep it.. that'd be the stand-up thing to do on both ends.. id like to be there and see that except that after kelsey hands over the jersey Mario says," thanks Bi^#$%, now go make me a samich!"
bowery4 Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Kelsey wants a new contract extension in exchange for the number or he is releasing his pictures of Ralph to the press.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No one needs to in OTAs, they can have duplicate numbers. In fact on occasion you'll see two players from the same team wearing the same number during a preseason game.
