Cru Jones Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 That was perfect timing and it would have given the fans a chance to have their say in the matter. That place would have been an absolute zoo tonight.
Dat Dude Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 That was perfect timing and it would have given the fans a chance to have their say in the matter. That place would have been an absolute zoo tonight. GOOD POINT !
OldTimer1960 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Unfortunately, when he leaves it IS over and all the decent FAs that the Bills might have targeted are long-gone. I am not blaming the Bills front-office for this. I am confident that they came strong with money or Williams wouldn't have been here in the first place, nor would he have stayed so long. This is about the legacy of horrible football since the last Super Bowl run and the location. I love Buffalo and Western New York. I have spent 51 years here, but it isn't for every one.
Malazan Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Honestly, I wouldn't want him to know about the miserable piles of depression that some of the 'fans' are..
QB Bills Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 the fans at the game should start a may-ree-ooo chant couldn't hurt
Toshiero Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 If he leaves then we can kiss off any chance of any real free agents
OldTimer1960 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 If he leaves then we can kiss off any chance of any real free agents That's already gone. All of the good starting-caliber players are already off the market. There may be some OK depth signings available, but no real upgrades at any position left.
Hammered a Lot Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 If he leaves then we can kiss off any chance of any real free agents Really, sunshine
FrankReichComeback Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Really, sunshine The thing is he COULD have left earlier tonight on a private jet and met with any team tomorrow, but he decided to stay overnight in Buffalo and he's meeting with the folks at OBD again in the AM. This is obviously not the best sign, but really, it isn't the worst sign either. Like Paul Peck said, as long as he's in Buffalo, it's a good sign
Coach Klein Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 just saw on twitter he's in the Bills suite at the game tonight!
