boyst Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I am way up later then bedtime so typign is worse then normal but i got about every word in some form or another and paraphrased lil parts but you'll get the idea. this is from Sirius XM interview tonight Zig Vercosi and Jim Miller interview with Timmy Graham Long day, yadda yadda, Wanny going to get Williams In past bills waited days and went over value acquisitions, this is different. get at a bargain, a guy who failed a physical but this year said from start doing it different tim asked nix about the plan he said he wanted to be done by friday, it stood out extraordinary. when a gm says done by friday, that means they have in their mind somethign is done. who said we won't be done by fridady? they had to know, i don't know if they'll land them, but they were both in blo by time sun went down, good move for 12 year droughht playoff team langston walker, and past guys who sucked as free agents: your thoughts tim gaughen said bills prepared to make him highest paid nfl player in history, tough to walk away from who said he can't get it from another team closer to playoffs or etc stuff. but just to be able to say that we know from being around players things like that matters to player. to say i am the highest paid player means something and the bills are willing to do that. that swings things in the bills favor. best chance to make a great presentation. he'll make one more visit, couldn't get him signed before he left town but the fac tthat this money is out there is good if the bills don't get them it would be devastating to morale if we did everything to lure and he still didn't take it, that's the flip side sirius: he's their reggie white, that dollar figure, etc.. what is plan b? where do we turn? well it's tough to say, and that's what kind of the sense that what we were saying earlier, they had their guys, there might be a plan b but meachem or a guy like him is highly valueable. chan is someone who tosses the ball, meachum can stretch field. we had to move people around. SJ at X posotiion. david nelson and chandler on field. if we can get that , and with cjh and fred, meachem is that missing piece of puzzle. it's easier to find wr's in the nfl, marshall is proof only 2 3's. to go for a plan b when you want mario williams, there is none. too big of a drop off is bills just doing this to create interest, like gruden, cowher, is there a genuine sense we are a serious player to get them? "yes there is, the callers twitter, etc...i was a cyni too whenit started, brandon is ceo, they had resources, and enoguh under the cap and plan to spend to the cap, we identified and not a dog and pony show . i really don't know what the benfit is, it won't sell tickets, fans won't like it, we have to get that guy on our team, we have to see him on the podium holding up that bills jersey, its the same with meachem there was an awful lot of excitement here perfect fit with the stache, for williams... the talented wr, at the end of the day can we protect fitz? where are the OL we need to address LT, we can't sign him, he pressed himself out of the market, he wanted to move on but he could come back, we led nfl in sacks allowed, due to chans game. not to sell out and go after passer with fred jackson keeping d on it's heels. there is ablief to make do with our line, get an OT in the draft, hairston can be tested. lets see what he can do. because of the offense, we were successful last year with the line dbell, jason peters, we can't keep LT's. don't put bell in same sentence as peters, we're slow to develop LT's don't forget. he's karl malones son, enamored with his traits, took him a while to become an LT, the committement to develop an then lose him is a cycle the bills would love to disrupt, we need a franchise guy, every other afce team has one. that's across the offenseive line, particularly at LT that the guy that protectgs out QB. to think he's young, average, whatever, he is their QB there is abig drop off to him to whoever....(((TIM FORGOT OUR BACKUP QB'S NAME. bwahahahahha! and admitteD it))). what that team may be who wants williams, who knows, the money is on the table, it will come down to things that are on the table playoff history, market (nightlife, social), weather, players on teams, it could come to who knows, but the money is on the table and the bills can say they did the best they could, but is that going to be the torture? look back and say we did all we could but not get the after tim chatter: a bad team trying to stay relevant. genuinely hot after big need, switching to 4-3, need a dominating pass rusher, he's the best in free agency. there is a huge drop off after MW. the bears looking at mincy and he's somewhat exploded but after mw there is a drop off and if you swing and you miss it will be bad. i think gailey will survive it but this could be a big piece of the puzzle. they were productive on offense, scored more then recent offense. MW would be difference maker on defense for the bills alright guys, way tired, going to bed, if spelling sucks call merriam websters.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 alright guys, way tired, going to bed, if spelling sucks call merriam websters. That's Merriam-Webster's. Just kidding. Thanks for the work, farmer.
Stenbar Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 If they dont sign him they might as well leave with him..It would be beyond devastating to the team that he turned down being the highest paid dman in NFL history to go somewhere else than Buffalo....They shoulda kept car salesmannin him..Ok how bout 17.7...17.8 20.5??? Till he said ok....Dumb move if he really doesnt sign with the Bills..
