Toshiero Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Ok folks just a few hours before this puppy kicks off. Nix says he wants to be done by Friday. That tells me he has had some *wink wink* discussions with some agents and has an idea on who he can get. I will go ahead this one time and sip the koolaid of OBD and say we shock the world and get M. Williams to play DE and either Vjax or Coleston opposite Stevie. Who do you think will be the big splashes Nix is talking about?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I think the Bills ATTEMPT to sign Vincent Jackson and Mario Williams but fail in both attempts. The money will be good, but both players decide they'd rather go somewhere with a better chance of winning. Sad but true. The Bills instead turn around and sign WR Robert Meachem, DE Jeremy Mincey and DE Trevor Scott. All middle/lower tier FAs, but guys who can contribute.
PaattMaann Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 me thinks: Wimbley - DE Scott - DE Meachem or Royal - WR
Homer Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I dont think theyll go after VJax...too much money at one position. but I do think theyll bring in a quality DE...we'll see after the 4pm cuts because I feel that will be a factor.
kabnt2005 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Mario Williams and Robert Meachem, there's my big predictions.
Hater Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Mario Williams Vincent Jackson But Buddy Nix will probably sign a couple of guys off the parking lot & call it big moves
ryan42790 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Brandon Carr. After seeing how fast Nix was on Stanford Routte, its clear he wants to bring in a experienced CB for next year.
GOBILLS78 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Jordan Senn to help out on special teams and for linebacker depth. And that's about it.
BUFFALOKIE Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Williams and manningham...super Mario brothers. That's my prediction.
metzelaars_lives Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Metz is saying Colston inks w/ the Bills tom'w. You heard it here.
DreReed83 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 If you think we're going after Mario lay down whatever you're smokin.
Kipers Hair Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I don't think the Bills make a serious run at Mario Williams or Vincent Jackson. I do think they will look hard at and sign a couple of the following: OT - Eric Winston, Dametrious Bell, Jared Gaither WR - Robert Meacham, Early Daucet, Laurent Robinson LB - Channing Crowder (I know retired...but watch) CB - Brandon Carr, Courtland Finnigan
BillsFanThru-N-Thru Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Metz is saying Colston inks w/ the Bills tom'w. You heard it here. ESPN just reported that Colston resigned with the Saints for a 5 year deal.
D521646 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 ESPN just reported that Colston resigned with the Saints for a 5 year deal. Crap.. Tim-

Who do you think will be the big splashes Nix is talking about? If we get Williams and a big time WR, who do we draft? I'd take the best left OT available and OLB in rd 2, CB in rd 3. I doubt we have to worry about this happening though.
Dat Dude Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Mario Williams Vincent Jackson But Buddy Nix will probably sign a couple of guys off the parking lot & call it big moves
NFLBighits Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Mario Williams N Vincent Jackson will order a drink with there dinner tonite ! Thats my safe prediction Edited March 13, 2012 by NFLBighits
xsoldier54 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I think Jackson is a better possibility of actually signing with the Bills than Williams. I'd say Jackson and one of the second tier DE or OLB's. That wouldn't be too bad IMO.
LabattBlue Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 My prediction...the Bills will not sign Jeff Posey, Langston Walker, Derrick Dockery, Eddie Robinson, Geoff Hangartner, who else am I missing?
