DreReed83 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Correct me if I am wrong, and I may very well be wrong, but wouldn't the Bills be in trouble if they truly already arranged a meeting tonight? Yea they would I guess. Looks like the Cardinals, Broncos, Dolphins, are all in deep sht for meeting with Peyton Manning.
SelmonSmith6378 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Ahh, crap. Stop showing that thing! My eyes are gonna fall out!!
Punch Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) NO IDEA WHAT THIS SITE IS... http://profootballzone.com/nfl/mario-williams-will-visit-the-bears-first/ It links directly to Jason LaCanfora's NFL.com blog: http://blogs.nfl.com/2012/03/13/bears-expected-to-come-hard-after-mario-williams/ His specific quotes sound like pure speculation; that if the Bears are indeed his first visit they may not let him leave without a contract. Nothing concrete at all: The Bears could be the first team Williams visits, and it might be the only team. Its believed Chicago will go hard after him. Edited March 13, 2012 by Punch

RuntheDamnBall Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Yea they would I guess. Looks like the Cardinals, Broncos, Dolphins, are all in deep sht for meeting with Peyton Manning. Manning was released and is already a free agent. Williams isn't a FA until after 4pm. Try again.
thewildrabbit Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Looks like the ONLY teams that will talk to him are the Seahawks and Falcons. NO ONE ELSE in the entire league will be going after him. Thanks for the info. I take it you are deaf and were trying to read their lips...or to lazy to actually watch it Schefter stated at first two teams he knew were strongly interested in Mario were Detroit and Tenn, but since the Lions franchised Cliff Averil and Tenn now is going full bore after Peyton Manning. The Bears are in play, again the Titans...the Eagles because they are always hush hush about what they will do. Schefter thinks the Falcons and Texans are not in the Mario hunt
nucci Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Yea they would I guess. Looks like the Cardinals, Broncos, Dolphins, are all in deep sht for meeting with Peyton Manning. Manning was released. Teams are free to negotiate with him before free agency starts. edit: sorry, didn't see previous post stating same thing. Edited March 13, 2012 by nucci
DreReed83 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Manning was released. Teams are free to negotiate with him before free agency starts. wow.
section122 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Yea they would I guess. Looks like the Cardinals, Broncos, Dolphins, are all in deep sht for meeting with Peyton Manning. different story. Peyton was released and therefore immediately became a free agent and able to meet with any team(s) he chooses
DreReed83 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 different story. Peyton was released and therefore immediately became a free agent and able to meet with any team(s) he chooses double wow

Captain Hindsight Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Mario and Bowe... do it... do it... Bowe was franchised
kabnt2005 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Bowe was franchised Well they could conceivably still sign Bowe. He was franchised, but not the exclusive tag. Teams could sign him but would have to give up a first rounder (at least). Bills won't be doing that.
