tennesseeboy Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I've been skeptical of Buddy and Chan, but this is a great move forward and they deserve a lot of credit!
davefan66 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Schefter live on ESPN: Big money big part. 19% higher guaranteed money than peppers contract. Signed to strengthen defense and image of team. Makings one of best defensive line, or the best defensive line in football. Life of brady, sanchez and others got more difficult. No team willing to go to the level Bills did. Dollar level, interest level-kept him there 3 days. Front office recognizes how important to get pass rusher. Akin to Reggie white signing in GB. Makes franchise more attractive to future FA's/. Nuthin we did not know, but for those who can't get to ESPN.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Ha! I thought of the same thing. D-line equity, if memory serves. I just talked to him. He's pretty happy about it.
SWOntarioBillsfan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 A lot of money but a necessary move not only for the team but for it's reputation.

Bmwolf21 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I absolutely love that Twitter is blowing up with other teams' fans complaining about the deal and how it doesn't matter because we suck anyway.
Phlegm Alley Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Will the presser be streaming live on BB.com? Sorry if already posted. Thanks.

Canucked Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I was in class when I heard. I started to laugh out loud I couldn't help it. It didn't go over well.
pkwwjd Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Minor detail ... We haven't had Mario here 3 days. It has been less than 48 hours since free agency started. The media seems to focus on the 3 day total to make it sound like it was more desparate or sensationalistic.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 @AaronRodgers12: Congrats to Mario Williams signing in buffalo... far away from the NFC north, thanks big guy
boyst Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Fwiw. Mario didn't answer thetext message we sent him. Imagine that.
