2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 He better not be staying in Buffalo for three days just waiting to see what Tennessee does. If that's his mindset there's no reason to stay in Buffalo this long.
truth on hold Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 If there's anything that would solidify my decision to never move back to Buffalo its absolutely the St Patrick's day parade. The one in NYC is far worse.
5 Wide Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Hope they changed the locks after T.O. left, don't wanna have too many keys out there
Dr. Fong Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 He played his college ball at NC state, might have something to do with it According to google maps Raleigh to Nashville is about 8 1/2 hours. Raleigh to Buffalo is around 11 1/2. So not really a big advantage.
prissythecat Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 If there's anything that would solidify my decision to never move back to Buffalo its absolutely the St Patrick's day parade. Is there actually a St Patrick's day parade anywhere that would not be like that?
Guffalo Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 not if you keep your ho on a leash. Could you imagine if Mario and Fiance log on and as suggested, google "Mario Williams" and stumble across this board and specifically this thread? He would have his picture of Buffalo pretty well summed up: Rabid, edgy fans who dream about him if we dare fall asleep during this ordeal F5 = refresh We like our ex ex-wives and girlfriends like our coffee (ground up and in the freezer) Ralph is cheap We stalk him in airports, restaurants, hockey games, hotels, and bathrooms One of us wants the owner to die as Mario signs a contract with us
stevestojan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Is there actually a St Patrick's day parade anywhere that would not be like that? No. But I guess my point was, of you're trying to endear Mario to the city, keep him far, far away from that parade.
buffaloboyinATL Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Do you think Mario is sleeping in today? No, he is eating caviar for breakfast, washed down with Mimosas made with Dom and lighting money on fire while laughing and dancing.
BRAWNDO Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 As always, take this with a grain of salt. But I was just over on the Tennessee Titans message board to see if anyone has some insight on our situation. The fans in Tennessee believe that Mario Williams is waiting to see if the Titans get Peyton Manning. He is the number one priority for Bud Adams. If the Titans don't get Manning, they have apparently told Mario's agent that they will match Buffalo's offer. And with the money equal, Williams would rather play in Tennessee. If true, that may be why he is stalling. The good news for Buffalo is that Tennessee seems to be in the driver's seat for getting Manning. So their thoughts are if we don't Peyton, they get Mario as a consolation prize?

I LOVE the desert & was rooting for AZ to snag Manning, but you just changed my mind...just in case this is true. It almost makes sense
stevestojan Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 When this is over, I feel like we're all going to feel like hostages finally released from the bank robbery.
devldog131 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) I want the Bills to sign Mario even more now that it means nobody will ever have to read one of your poorly punctuated posts. By poorly punctuated I mean complete absence of punctuation. There was a comma... But in all seriousness, I agree with you entirely. *edited to remove double post...* Edited March 15, 2012 by devldog131

southernbill Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 So their thoughts are if we don't Peyton, they get Mario as a consolation prize? Pretty much, but if your Mario I get the attraction to Tennessee it's about as close to his home in Carolina as he can get.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I don't care how we get MW (i.e., whether he comes here only because Manning goes to Tennessee)--so long as we get him.

Kudos.
n3wyork13 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 If we don't get him we are gonna look like fools.....
BuffaloRebound Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 When this is over, I feel like we're all going to feel like hostages finally released from the bank robbery. Couldn't agree more. He knows Bills have to get this done now or it will be viewed as a huge failure. Guy will probably end up with an ownership interest.
