Outstanding job!

Something like this, perhaps?

Back in two aught twelve, the meanest, most feared pass rusher (that's something from this game called football we used to have)you ever did see came to Buffalo to sign with the local team for $100 million dollars, which was a lot of money back then. He was so quick, he could be in two places at once. He even checked out of his hotel while at a hockey (another game we used to have where people tied metal to their feet and glided around on ice hitting a disk with sticks)game. Boy was he somethin, there'll never be another like him, you mark my words.

Former New Orleans Saints receiver Robert Meachem discusses decision to sign with San Diego Chargers:

Former New Orleans Saints receiver Robert Meachem said there was no better opportunity for him than the chance to play a "premier" role for the San Diego Chargers. That's why the Saints' former No. 1 draft pick left to sign a reported four-year, $25.9 million deal with San Diego as a free agent.

Meachem said on Sirius-XM NFL Radio's "Late Hits" Wednesday that he didn't know if the Saints would make a serious run at re-signing him, especially after they re-signed fellow receiver Marques Colston on Tuesday morning. So he told his agent to explore all of his options.

Meachem was actually in a hotel room in Buffalo, where he had flown to visit the Bills, when he agreed to sign with the Chargers.....

I say good riddance. Glad we did not overpay for this clown. I am not sure he is a #1.

Thoughts?

Tim Russert's widow. Luke Russert's mother.

I don't think that's right. Tim's widow isn't from Buffalo, but his mother is. It's nice to see that Tim used some of his NBC money to build her a mansion.

I haven't read through all 127 pages… it was at around 59 when I left the house this morning so I don't know if anyone had the same thought but I'm kind of chuckling to myself imagining Mario Williams as a desperate prisoner of the Buffalo Bills.

In my vision the Bills have him locked up in the bowels of the stadium in a straightjacket on a old wooden chair… in front of a small table with a lamp, a pen, and a contract.

Carl Mauck is in front of him, his face just inches from Mario's, screaming at him to sign the contract. After 5 minutes of berating Mario, Mauck returns to his chair in a huff and lights a cigarette.

Marv Levy then gets up and approaches Mario speaking in his trademark mellifluous voice… "Mario you know you want to sign this contract… "

Classic! :) And of course...."Where else would you rather be than Right Here Right Now?!!"

Agreed. His numbers last year were no better than Nelson's. Plenty of WR's in the draft who are bigger and will probably be better than that dude.

That should have been the last line!

Or a variation of this classic with Mauck playing the part of Luca Brasi and Marv as the Godfather.

Luca Brasi held a gun to his head, and my father assured him that either his brains or his signature would be on the contract.

I'm at the point where if Mario was going to sign he would have by now....deals do not take this long

Bills are going to have to force his hand tomorrow morning for an answer to get it done or move on

Yeah that must be it. He brought in his future wife to enjoy the Seneca Casino and the great waterfront of Buffalo while taking a mini vacation before he signs his contract with another team.

Regardless of this post I like this kid. I really have no idea if or how good he is but I would hope he males it to the NFL and possibly as a big star. Could be the next big thing out of Buffalo in the NFL or possibly our future QB if he's any good.

Chad Kelly's tweet may not mean a darn thing but it certainly got my attention. I'm running on fumes here!
