BUFFALOKIE Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) From the Superbowl to the first pick in the draft (for years to come), in what, 2 years? that team is GONE! Is irsay lightening his load for th road or what? LA Colts, anyone? How many blackouts in Indy this year? Sucks to be a colt fan nowadays, huh. Edited March 10, 2012 by Stranger in a Strange Land

BUFFALOKIE Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Thanks. I guess I need spend at least 10 more hours a day here to keep up ;-) They've released a bunch more good players in that time. The Indianapolis colts world has ended as we know them. DOOOOOOOOMED!
Thisistheyear Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) I can't tell if this guy is a troll or just mentally feeble. Edited March 10, 2012 by Thisistheyear
NoSaint Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I can't tell if this guy is a troll or just mentally feeble. Both? They cut aging undersized and injured guys. Guys that didn't fit the 34 defense, or guys that were big money and unlikely to live up to it. If active in signing front 7 and oline, luck at 1, WR at 33 They could be back quick.

NoSaint Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Thats a mighty bif IF. Signing a lineman and a couple decent guys for the front 7 is a big if? It's nearly promised. Irsay will want to keep luck upright, and they must get a few bodies in the front seven to go from cover two to a 34. It's not a question so much as the owners acknowledged one half publicly and the other is a requirement of the situation. Cut old and expensive guys that dont fit and reallocate that money. I' don't even get what you think is questionable.

How can one compete with a crayonz thread....I concede Signing a lineman and a couple decent guys for the front 7 is a big if? It's nearly promised. The whole team is decimated man. More than a lineman and a couple decent guys away from relevancy again. Just my guess.

Just my guess. Add a qb and a wr early. Year of growing pains, second round of FA and the draft and they could be right back, easily, if luck isnt junk.

I'm not saying that can't/wont happen but I don't see the odds as being in their favor. If they are truly back in the hunt in a year or two, and especially to the level of the peyton era, that would be amazing and would certainly validate the BB FO critics and set a blueprint for every team to follow.
