After taking a lump sum and paying taxes, the unemployed woman said she ended up with just more than $500,000.

Asked if she had the right to the public assistance money, Clayton answered, "I kind of do. I have no income, and I have bills to pay. I have two houses."

Assuming she was on Public Assistance when she bought the winning ticket, she was playing with the taxpayer's money. She said she has "no income!"

Don't the Taxpayers deserve to share in the winnings?

Whomever was responsible for not checking the Lottery winners against the Welfare rolls should be fired! By that I don't mean some dumb clerk but the Administrator of the Welfare/Food Stamp organization.

The "winner" should be prosecuted for Fraud!
