Deep2Moulds46 Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Does anyone know why they won't let new members register? Every time I try to click register, it says "Registration has been disabled by the admin". I can't find anyone to contact either. Is this an error, or is that board just amateur hour?
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I dunno, but I'm fascinated by the reasoning behind coming onto a Buffalo Bills message board to ask why a different Buffalo Bills message board is behaving the way it is.

Well...let's see... Who comes here? Bills fans. What site was I asking about? Buffalobills.com. So which part are you having trouble understanding? Why I would ask Buffalo Bills fans about an issue I'm having with Buffalobills.com? Thanks for your reply though, it was very helpful. I now see how you got to 16,000+ posts. Buffalobills.com is a classy place, quit trying to smut it up.
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I have wondered about that over the years myself. I only tried a few times just to view some posts that were linked from here. Usually silly rumors. And I probably have an account there, I just don't remember the email/name I used.

DanInUticaTampa Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 So to answer your question, I don't know. I get the same message and just assume they don't want new members for whatever reason.

Should I go to Tops asking why Wegmans stopped carrying my granola bars?
PromoTheRobot Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Probably to maintain the exceptionally high level of reasoned, thoughtful postings there. PTR
The Wiz Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Should I go to Tops asking why Wegmans stopped carrying my granola bars? You could probably complain enough and they would call Wegmans for you.
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Should I go to Tops asking why Wegmans stopped carrying my granola bars? Terrible comparison. It is more like a moviegoer asking another moviegoer why a movietheater is closed for awhile. You know, like a bills fan asking other bills fans why he can't register on a message board when there is no one else to talk to.
Deep2Moulds46 Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Should I go to Tops asking why Wegmans stopped carrying my granola bars? I'm not really sure what you're whole purpose is of replying to this thread other than to add to your already ridiculously high post count. But since you are clearly having a hard time grasping this, I'll try one last time to explain. No, you wouldn't go to Tops asking Wegman's about granola bars. But you might a friend who shops at Wegmans who may have more information than you do. My first step was to ask Buffalobills.com..(You would know that if you read my original post, but it's clear to everyone you were too eager to reply with something, you just read the first two words and then proceeded to add nothing to the conversation). It didn't work..... So since this is the primary Buffalo Bills Message board I use (although, comparing post counts, I don't spend nearly as much time on here as some people), I thought maybe a fellow Bills fan would either A) have had the same issue, and know why it's the case or B) at least confirm they're having the same issue so I know it's not a problem on my end. As you can see by some of the other replies, there are people who use this message board and also have attempted to use the other one. But Jay Rubeo, I don't know you. I just had a simple question. I can see that it's a priority of yours to have a lot of attention on this site. I'm just trying to get a question answered. So, in hopes of this not turning into a "Let's talk about Jay Rubeo" thread, I'm going to ignore any more comments you make, unless of course you decide to change it up and add something usefulto the conversation.
The Wiz Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I'll go ahead and end this insanity. You're hosed for right now. The only way to register is to contact the admin. The only way to contact the admin is if you are registered. I'll put a word in to the admin and let them know registration is down. Cheers.
Rubes Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Don't worry, Jay's just trying to crash the board. Again.
marauderswr80 Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I was always on bb.com boards until i come here. I like this board much better!
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I had a nice rebuttal all typed up but decided against it. I'll just say that I really hope BuffaloBills.com's messageboard allows you to register if that's what you want.
Buff_bills4ever Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 They had spam bot attacks a while back, so they disabled registration. Trust me, that board sucks. All of the best posters came over months ago.

I'll just say that I really hope BuffaloBills.com's messageboard allows you to register if that's what you want. But you have a lot of posts, so your opinion doesn't matter. From my random viewings of team owned messageboards, his attitude should fit right in over there.
BuffaloBillsSD Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I signed on to look at a link that PTR had provided. Everything was fine until 2 days later they cancelled my account with no explanation.
