Obama that I had never heard before. There's a story in the AP Exclusive today that confirms that Obama's nanny in Indonesia when he was a boy was/is a transvestite who is now living in fear in the streets. Seriously. I couldn't make this up. Now, I'm not going to make any comment... it takes all kinds in this world, I suppose. I want to believe that, but it simply will not be the case because the left has mastered the concept of poisoning the well. You simply can not question or criticize Obama's past in ANY regard without it immediately leading to tinfoil hat birther discussions. They are all immediately just another log on the burning bush of "you're one of those people who can't admit Obama has done anything good" or "you're one of those people who want him to fail because he's black." They own the conversation. The Alinsky, Rev. Wright, Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko stuff is just crazy talk. Crazy. The simple act of associating with socialists, Marxists and other left leaning groups doesn't mean much taken alone, but when you're associating with these types at functions celebrating known Marxists then its a pretty clear indication that Barry is at least sympathetic to their cause. Politicians get to know all sorts of unsavory characters, and I couldn't care less if Obama enjoys talking borscht with Lenin himself every year at the XYZ gala fundraiser. But there is a difference between overlapping social circles with socialists and going out of your way to serve on a panel with the radical left. I'm one of those people who believes that four more years of Obama, especially when he has no one to suck up to for reelection, will be absolutely devastating to our economy, and what's left of our individual and collective dignity. We have eight months and ONE shot. I'm of the strategic mindset that I'm not going to convince fence-sitting voters to vote against Obama by rolling out Sean Hannity's golden oldies of Alinsky love songs and Bernardine Dorhn. The freaking Obama campaign sells coffee mugs with his birth certificate on them, for Christ's sake. They OWN these conversations. You simply can not waste time on THIS microcosm of the larger fight when you give serious thought to the amount of time and number of opportunities we have. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'd do quite well in a Christian theocracy. My Christian friends tend to be neo-cons, though, which is something I am most definitely not. We've all become familiar with the bull **** Obama can spout. It wouldn't surprise me if he went to this as part of his "community organizer" agenda and didn't take a real position on any political points, instead spewing a lot of flowery crap, in order to help expand his "grassroots" base. Do I think Obama is a leftist? Absolutely. Do I think he's a socialist? We don't even have to look at this function to say that, if he isn't, he's at least close to it. LA is right, pointing to these types of things at this point just muddies the water. We need to focus on his policy making, his executive decisions, and the economy in order to get somebody else in the White House next January.
