DrDawkinstein Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I had a '79 280Z a few years ago, that came off the assembly line the same month I was born. When I went to test drive it, and saw that, I had to buy it. Love those old Z's. Ended up trading in the 79 for a 2003, but I still want to go back to the old style soon.
Marv's Neighbor Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Bought a new '83 280ZX. That was my first non- "made in USA" car. Since then I've owned nothing but Nissan and never looked back to mr. Goodwrench!

thebug Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 In 1996 I was living in Vancouver and was trying to get back to Ontario. I bought a 1978 bright orange Datsun station wagon for $500.00. What a piece of crap that thing was, but it held most of my stuff and got me home. Loved that car!
