even if the scholarship comes from a gay organization, it would be presumptuous to assume she's gay. she may have written a great essay for a small scholarship. i don't think it's on par with a fulbright.

There was at least one site that said one of the qualifications for a scholarship was to be gay. Just sayin. Regardless, the reason I even looked into this was that Drudge had a headline saying that she was for insurance companiea paying for gender change. The link was somehow broken so I investigated it further. Crayonz has posted a link you might want to check out before you go any further. After all, you don't want to be thrown in with the Booster crowd.

like you, no idea what the scholarship is about but have you considered the possibility that a straight person might support gay causes?

Apparently, the Rainbow Scholarship is only available to gay students.

Well, when I Googled it I did find that there was a site that was called rainbow something that was all about teddy bears and pre school kids. I didn't think this was the scholarship Sandra was talking about.

Sounds like Obama's economic plan. Don't rule it out.

Limbaugh's comments came a day after a seventh advertiser, ProFlowers.com, pulled its advertising from his radio show, following Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, Citrix Systems Inc., Carbonite and LegalZoom. An eighth, AOL, announced on Monday that it would stop advertising, too.

Wow, that had to hurt. Well not the Aohell loss, they are still around? Why?

Yesterday on the view this !@#$ said with a stragiht face "go to Media Matters for more information."

Nope....just an innocent, naive college kid.

Anyone hear the "who is Sandra Fluke" story in the MSM yet?

Yeah, me neither.

So, it would appear that the democrat's star witness for the need for free birth control is a lesbian. That's her choice and I'm not making any comment on that except as a guy, I like some of the same stuff she does. What does it say about a person that would put themselves on the national stage, making claims that "birth control" cost her $3000, when the closest she has come to anything that might make her pregnant has batteries, two heads or enables another female to speak? Although you might think I'm being tongue-in-cheek here, how stupid (and arrogant) can the former Speaker of the House be to prance out a lesbian to testify before the world about the hardship she endured by having to pay for her own birth control?

Umm the birth control pill is used for other things than birth control, which was her whole point. I grant you she is a plant.

Of course it's used for other things. Why call it contraception then? Change the argument all you want, but isn't it ridiculous for the poster child for birth control to be a lesbian?

BTW, do not PM me anymore. I don't need your challenges and name calling going into my work email account.

Was that the point of her testimony or was she arguing about the reproductive effects of the birth control drugs?

Wow he's PMing you and calling names? I thought I was the only one worthy of that attention. What an immature chickenshit.

Hmm calling me a pedophile is cool by you, but me calling him a loser is out of bounds. Typical.

Gee, I must have missed that one or are you lying again? How can you be taken seriously if you make statements like JiA wants to shoot Mexicans in the head and follow that up with Chef Jim supports him? After that you said you just made that crap up to mess with people. Then you claimed you didn't lie. Then you pm'd me, calling me your B word and I assume challenging me to a fight of some kind. Just don't pm me anymore.

Before you send PMs which could bother people you should ask yourself "WWFLPD?". I think this would prevent you from hitting the send button.

At issue isn't inhalers for asthmatics or insulin for diabetics. Contraception isn't like other kinds of "health care." Yes, birth-control pills can be prescribed to address medical problems, though that's relatively rare and the Catholic Church has no quarrel with their use in this circumstance. And the university's insurance covers prescriptions in these cases.

The Church isn't against birth control pills, they're against birth control.

Anyone who doesn't understand the difference shouldn't be involved in the discussion.

When sponsors boycott conservatives over bull **** I boycott those sponsors. I'll never do business with any of those companies again.

So you admit she's a plant but you're giddy that Rush is losing sponsors over a manufactured controversy?
