Hopefully the judge has some common sense and looks at the recommendation as a minimum. And hopefully this sub-human gets gang raped in the shower on a regular basis. From what I understand..and I could be wrong here...but here in the great Commonwealth of VA 1`) Judge cannot give more time than sentence recommended by the jury..less yes, but not more 2) VA does not offer parole..so if you get 20 years..you be doing twenty years 3) Because of that, a judge will often reduce the sentence knowing they will be doing the full time 4) his time already in jail, about 30 months, will be counted as time served Edited February 23, 2012 by plenzmd1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
