Anyway later in the draft...id like to see use go for another TE...I'm a big fan of Jake Stoneburner....he has range...can stretch the field...sure hands....would have had a much better year if the buckeyes could have settled on a qb earlier in the year....

I am thinking if we keep Chandler, aaand Buddy likes that pickup last season as a bruiser{ L. smith?} i read. We might be good enough at the position for Chan's offense. But an upgrade is always good!
aussiebills Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I think Chandler and Smith are ok in the offense we run, Lee smith was used as a blocking TE and Chandler can adequately catch and block

BBeck/cuba Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 TEs are not used in this offense Chandler should have 8 - 10 targets per game. Chan will never run a 2 TE offense. Unless your picking a TE at the end of the draft (Chase Ford 7th) dont bother. I like what is going on with this team but I also think the coaches need to give a little bit in their schemes.

JStranger76 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 We actually did run some some 2 TE sets late in the year and YES, even if Chandler comes back, a TE with superior receiving skills is a need. I'm looking at Orson Charles if he is still there in the 2nd round or Micheal Egnew or Ladarius Green in the 4th. For all those who scream TE would take away from other needs two words: FREE AGENCY dick. 3 words if you include dick lol
