Ted William's frozen head Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 More like highway robbery where the robber pistol whips the victim just for the hell of it. But I guess they have to pay for all those government employee early retirements somehow, huh? The average New York State pension is under $20K a year. No kidding. Really not much meat on the bone to cut away from the average worker. There are people who have scammed the system, (crooked lawyers, and bureaucrats) and make the rest of us look bad. THAT crap has to stop immediately. BTW, The NYS Retirement system is well over 100% funded, and will continue to be in great shape indefinitely.
MarkyMannn Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Actually the city is cheaper to live in tax wise than the suburbs. I'm in West Seneca in a house maybe worth $100,000, and pay $3500 a year in taxes. Put that $700,000 house in WS and you are paying almost $25,000, which is 50% more than that house's tax of $17k
Haven Moses Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 i tried to take a look at it yesterday but for some reason the realtor just kept fumbling with the key LOL
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 http://www.buffalonews.com/city/communities/buffalo/article737934.ece?twobillsdrive More details on the sale, the house, etc.
GoBills! Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I dont see how this house could command that much money, no offense to the buffalo real estate market but I dont see many buyers at that price level I would guess it sells for close to 550-580 in this market.
