Require the Financial Services Industry to Pay Back Taxpayers.

The Administration is calling for a Financial Crisis Responsibility Fee on the largest financial institutions to fully compensate taxpayers for the extraordinary support they provided to the financial sector

 

So just to be clear...JP Morgan Chase, who paid back $11B of their $10B in TARP money they received, needs to pay more to "fully compensate taxpayers"? :unsure:

Somebody has to pay for Fannie/Freddie/FHA capital replenishment.

Who wanted nothing to do with TARP money in the first place too.

No, that's different somehow. Apparently if you hire employees belonging to a union with millions to spend buying off Democrats, you don't need to repay your gubment loans.
