VABills Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 It sure was nice to see our #1 RB cheers when our #2 got a TD yesterday. A lot better than our sit at the end of the bench and sulk old #1 when the current #1 displaced him. At least our current #1 realized it is a team game and when someone does well it is good for him as well. It was also nice to see so that our current #1 now has a servicable backup and the old #1 can go elsewhere. I was unsure about the trade until yesterday. Yes, I understand it was SF and they are terrible, but for a game or two, our #2 will be a good fill-in, if needed.
Bill from NYC Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Good post VA. My only concern about Shaud is that he is small, and might have problems keeping rushers away from a big, slow target in Drew. I am all for keeping Shaud, and perhaps looking to the draft for another bigger back. At least there will be an open roster spot at that position.
