CSBill
You can't sign Ward. Teams need to have their 4th or 5th best wr to be a special teams contributor. Hines is no better than a 4th or 5th wr, and he does not play special teams. that my friends, is an intelligent response . . . no to HW, and YES to Stevie J (whatever it takes!) Hapless Bills Fan
You can't sign Ward. Teams need to have their 4th or 5th best wr to be a special teams contributor. Hines is no better than a 4th or 5th wr, and he does not play special teams. This is the reason "no room at the Steel Inn" for Ward But would he be the 4th or 5th best wideout in Buffalo? Who are the 3 or 4 who are better?
WhitewalkerInPhilly
I think it's worth looking into. That said, he would not be our number 1, so he would need to accept that fact and be willing to take a pay reduction. So, all in all while I would love to have him I have a feeling that we aren't going to get him.
Beerball
Heinz is absolutely 1000% not the type of players the bills need at this juncture. They aren't the k gun perennial superbowl contenders in need of a loften- type, vet WR to give the offense the last puzzle piece... funny try tho.. If he was interested I'd welcome him. He will bring intensity to whichever team he signs with. Stick him in the slot and see what he can do.
